Homeowner Education Plus
At Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity, we are committed to helping low to moderate income families find opportunity, develop stability, and improve their future. We believe this commitment involves much more than homeownership or home repair…it involves education, financial literacy, life skills, and much more. We call this Homeowner Education Plus. We aren’t just helping people become better homeowners. We are helping people become better people.
All Homeownership Program participants are required to complete at least 50 hours of our Homeowner Education Plus classes. Our Home Repair Program participants are required to complete a portion of the classes. All of our classes are open to the public and especially those that are interested in becoming homeowners or currently own a home. Participants will find the classes enjoyable, informative, and potentially life changing.
